Raj Marfatia, Co-Director/Design Lead

Raj has more than 20 years’ experience in the building, construction and design industry, literally building his career from the ground up – from as a carpenter on site, through to co-founding the awarding winning AMG Architects with long-term friend, Marc Ghosn, where he is now head designer and client liaison.
Raj’s breadth of experience includes designing and documenting commercial retail projects before being approached by a leading exhibition design company, where he served as project architect, and briefly tutoring Architectural Design Studio at Deakin University Woolstores Campus.
Through his passion for creating smart, contemporary and practical spaces that respond to his clients’ needs, Raj has built a solid reputation for his collaborative and open-minded approach to design projects, encouraging his clients to become actively involved in the process, especially during the design stages.
Raj’s belief in building strong relationships with his clients continues to inspire AMG Architects’ ethos that modern architecture is as much about smart, contemporary and sustainable design as it is about the people who will ultimately enjoy it.

Marc Ghosn: Co-Director/ Head of Operations/Customer Delivery Lead/Accounts Director/Client Lead

Registrations: Australian Institute of Architects, A+ Membership.
Marc has some 17 years’ experience in the architecture industry, developing his design and documentation skills on literally hundreds of medium to large-scaled commercial, retail and residential projects before being approached by a leading architectural design office where worked to identify opportunities to improve the delivery of architectural projects.
Marc’s calm, professional and easy-matured approach when working with clients has overseen the successful delivery of many high-quality, custom designed bespoke homes throughout Victoria.
His ceaseless passion for seeking out the latest in architectural materials, systems and technologies available and sharing knowledge and insights with clients has proven invaluable on projects from initial design through to detailed design, documentation and contract administration.
Through his uniquely dry and measured project management style, Marc has helped shape AMG Architects’ reputation for creating new and innovative ways to improve the quality of life through sensible design and construction practices.
